My background begins with my Ancestors and heritage. Raised by an activist, I learned the value of honoring my Ancestors, the arts, and political critique. This fueled my passion for service to my People, land keeping, art and design, and a degree of Jurisprudence in Indian Law. My nurtured background of cultural appreciation and justice fuels my Native American Art. This is a photo of my Rodriguez family. My grandfather is on the right-hand side of the photo. The woman holding the baby is my great grandmother. I come from an ethnically dynamic background and I identify with my Indigenous ancestry. I am Newene (Western Shoshone) from the Yomba Shoshone Tribe in Central Nevada and I am from the Conde Solis Clan from the Otomi Tribe in Tlaxcala Mexico.
I express my Native American Art and Design through painting, collage, jewelry making, photography, and writing.
I use many different mediums, such as oil & acrylic paints, graphite, sharpie marker, found objects, beads, semi-precious stones, sterling & fine silver.

My Indigenous Newene (Western Shoshone) homeland is called Newe Segobia (Nevada). The Mother Earth inspires my art and design. Many of the symbols and color pallets I use in my paintings and jewelry are born from the Great Basin. Wilde Element Designs is my interpretation of my traditional lands, traditional designs, language, culture, plants, animals, and stories. Sometimes my Newene Native American Art it is inspired from the conflict between harmonizing Indigenous Culture with Western Society. This is my interpretation of assimilation, adaptation, and urban Indianism. These are my expressions that range from casual to sacred experiences. Although I consider my art sentimental, they are not sacred items themselves. I do not sell my regalia or sacred items.
